Welcome to 1212 WoodWorks. The use of reclaimed or recycled materials whenever possible is a primary focus of all the work. This includes wood from broken pallets, leftovers from construction sites, broken or water damaged furniture picked up on the side of the road, and even wood that was reclaimed out of an old cotton gin. As with the wood, most of the metal has been collected from construction sites and pulled out of dumpsters and trash cans. An effort is made to accentuate or leave markings both natural and man-made, including insect damage, spalting, as well as saw marks or holes from removed nails. Currently represented at Mountain Living Studio in Manitou Springs CO, Crescent Moon Gallery in Wilmington NC, and Lantana's Gallery in Southport NC.
